FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a reforming method, in which: hydrocarbon stream 105, having hydrocarbons containing from 5 to 12 carbon atoms, is introduced into a reforming zone containing a reforming catalyst, wherein the reforming zone includes at least four reforming reactors, wherein each reforming reactor is characterized by a certain set of operating conditions for reforming to obtain effluent stream 125 of reformate and last reforming reactor comprises less than catalyst than penultimate reforming reactor, wherein the first reforming reactor 145 operates at temperature of 480 °C to 560 °C, the second reforming reactor 150 operates at temperature of 510 °C to 560 °C, third reforming reactor 175 operates at temperature of 520 °C to 560 °C, and the fourth reforming reactor 205 operates at temperature of 540 °C to 560 °C and the liquid hourly space velocity (LHSV) value in the first reforming reactor 145 ranges from 8.5 h-1 up to 20 hours-1, the LHSV value in the second reforming reactor 150 ranges from 8.5 h-1 up to 12 h-1, value of LHSV in third reforming reactor 175 ranges from 6.5 h-1 up to 8.5 h-1, and the LHSV value in the fourth reforming reactor 205 ranges from 12 h-1 up to 30 h-1.
EFFECT: use of the disclosed method increases octane number of gasoline without excessive increase of content of aromatic compounds in gasoline.
