FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, namely to spring drive device for electric switching device and electric switching device. Device includes drive spring to provide movement for actuation of switching device and rotary pneumatic damper connected to drive spring. Damper is made with possibility of slowing down movement of spring during at least final part of movement for actuation. Damper has a toroidal working chamber formed by two annular parts (119, 120) of the housing, which are made with possibility of rotation relative to each other. Each part (119, 120) of the body has inner walls, which together define boundaries of the working chamber. First part (119) of the body has a rotary displacing wall (128), which is made with possibility of rotation in the working chamber with provision of tightness. Second part (120) of the body has fixed end wall (127) of the working chamber. According to the invention, the second housing part (120) is made with at least one recess (131a, b) on its inner walls. Recess (131a, b) is located at an angular distance from end wall (127) of less than 90°, in front of it, if seen in direction of displacement of displacing wall (128) during movement for actuation. Recess (131a, b) has length in direction along circumference that is greater than effective thickness of displacing wall (128). In the alternative version, the recess is located in first part (119) of the body and is equipped with a drive.

EFFECT: technical result is increase in reliability.
