SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an animal care tool and a method for use thereof. Animal care tool (10) comprises handle (12) and head (14) attached to handle (12). Head (14) has a group of curved carding webs (28) configured to move in at least an extended position and a non-extended position. Curved carding webs (28) are curved by 60–90°. Head (14) comprises holder (30) of carding webs, holding said webs in a fixed position. Head (14) also comprises housing (40), in which there is internal volume (42), and holder (30) of carding webs is functionally located in inner volume (42) of housing (40) and is made and located with possibility of movement into at least first position and second position. Carding webs (28) have proximal segment (32) near carding web holder (30) and distal portion (34) spaced from carding web holder (30). At that, when the carding web holder (30) is in the first position, carding webs (28) are in the extended position, and when holder (30) of carding webs is in second position, carding webs (28) are in non-retracted position and distal section (34) of carding webs (28) is located closer to housing (40) than in extended position.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of using one tool for care of animals with different length of wool.
