FIELD: body piercing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: body piercing ring cartridge comprises pussete pin holder unit and nut clamp for axial holding of nut in spaced relation and for arrangement in opposite relation so that ear portion adapted for piercing may be placed between pussete and nut. Nut clamp has protuberance and is adapted for sliding engagement with ring clamp for providing sliding of nut clamp relative to ring clamp. Protuberance of nut clamp and pussete pin holder unit cooperate for creating rotating force acting upon pussete pin holder unit to open it with rotation after compressing of ring cartridge for moving ring clamp to nut clamp and for connecting pussete to nut. Apparatus for ear piercing comprises ring cartridge and pussete gun which may be charged with ring cartridge. Gun has handle, piston connected with handle for sliding therewith, device adapted for moving piston away from handle and provided with curved front surface adapted for gripping by operator's fingers, receptacle with protrusion extending forward from curved surface and equipped with upper surface spaced from lower surface for defining tongue groove boundaries, and front receptacle stop extending upward from end of receptacle protrusion. Piston has rear curved surface adapted for gripping by operator's hand and movable part connected with rear surface and adapted for compressing of ring cartridge upon displacement thereof into receptacle and compressing of handle with piston by operator's hand. Movable part has rear stop and tongue connected with rear stop of receptacle and adapted for displacement into tongue groove upon gripping of piston and handle. First and second stops are joined to piston, adjoin to handle upon gripping of piston and handle and limit sliding motion of piston into handle. Pin held by ring cartridge may be brought into engagement with nut held by ring cartridge without damaging nut.

EFFECT: provision for usage of pivotal annular rings in piercing apparatus providing safe and effective piercing.
