SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport and concerns freight cars for transportation of large-capacity containers, sections, piece-weighted cargoes, wheeled equipment and other cargoes which do not require protection from atmospheric precipitation. Platform car comprises two spinal beams (1), two end beams, two end beams, two swivel beams (4), transverse beams, lateral beams of variable double-tee section, longitudinal frame elements, flooring. On each lateral beam there are at least six rotary folding fitting stops with gates, in which lower stops from vertical displacements are made in the form of a single integral structure with a rotary rod and which body is a stop from horizontal movements located on the inner side of the beams below the flooring level in the recess.

EFFECT: invention extends the range of transported cargoes and provides reliable fixation of containers against vertical and horizontal movements.
