FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to use of at least one modified alkylphenol-aldehyde resin in a crude oil composition or in a product obtained from a crude oil composition and containing asphaltenes for dispersing asphaltenes and/or for preventing and/or slowing and/or stopping, and/or reducing deposition of asphaltenes. Modified alkylphenol-aldehyde resin is obtained during the Mannich reaction of an alkylphenol-aldehyde condensation resin with at least one aldehyde and/or one ketone having 1 to 8 carbon atoms and at least one hydrocarbon compound having at least one alkylamine group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, and the alkylphenol-aldehyde condensation resin is obtained by condensation of at least one alkylphenol substituted with at least one linear or branched alkyl group, having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, with at least one aldehyde and/or one ketone having 1 to 8 carbon atoms. Invention also relates to a composition containing asphaltenes and at least one modified alkylphenol-aldehyde resin, to use thereof, as well as to a method of treating a crude oil composition or a product obtained from a crude oil composition using at least one modified alkylphenol-aldehyde resin.

EFFECT: disclosed is a dispersant additive for asphaltenes and use thereof.
