FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering. Inflatable wing consists of two layers. Lower layer consists of inflated truncated cones or cylinders covered with film from below. Upper layer consists of transverse air cushions, each of which has the shape of banana with flattened ends. Helicopter of single-rotor or coaxial scheme comprises inflated inflatable wings, cylinders with compressed gas or pyrogas generators for their inflate, pyrocartridges, powder accelerators. Method of turning a helicopter into a glider in emergency situations consists in inflating inflatable wings with gas, shooting the propulsion unit together with the propeller and fuel tanks, and then activating the powder accelerators. Glider is accelerated to planning speed.

EFFECT: group of inventions is aimed at improvement of flight safety.
