FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for measuring static (frictional rest) and dynamic friction of loose materials and can be used in chemical, mining, pharmaceutical, food, metallurgical and other industries. Device for determining static and dynamic friction of loose materials, comprising housing in form of parallelepiped and hopper for supply of loose material, made of transparent material. Inside housing parallel to front wall is detachably detachable inner wall, in base of housing there is a hole of rectangular shape under hopper for supply of loose materials, into which are installed a sliding panel with handle, cover of rectangular shape with hole of rectangular shape, which is made above the hopper for loose materials supply, which is made in the form of trapezium and is rigidly fixed to the upper part of the rear wall of the housing, in the lower part of the loose material supply hopper a gate valve with a handle is installed, which is installed in slides fixed in supporting axes, inside housing to rear wall on one side and inner wall on other side are fixed with possibility of removal of measuring shelves, each of which is located at angles of 10° up to 35°, with possibility of changing angle to 5°, at that, on the front wall inside the housing there is a box for the WEB-camera, in which there is a WEB-camera connected to the personal computer by a USB wire.

EFFECT: this device can be used for estimation of physical parameters of bulk materials at simulation using DEM-method of various equipment, which involves use of loose materials.
