FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of bridge construction. Method includes installation of reinforcement element at distance from end of stiffness rib, equal to length of crack, solder application and local heating to solder melting point, at that, said reinforcement is performed by trapezoidal metal plate connected by lateral ribs with beam wall and stiffener at distance from stiffness rib end equal to crack length. Initially, solder is applied on reinforcement element, then the latter is pressed to stiffness rib and beam wall, after that solder is additionally applied to points of reinforcing plate contact with reinforcement rib and beam wall and, alternately, contact points are heated to solder melting temperature. In a particular case, the reinforcement element is pressed against the stiffness rib and the beam wall with force of 0.1 MPa, and the gap between the jointed surfaces is not more than 0.2 mm.
EFFECT: invention can be used for reinforcement of elements having a crack in welds of attachment of stiffness ribs to a beam wall, as well as to prevent development of cracks in welded seams.
