FIELD: hoisting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for increasing the safety of a boom hoisting crane. Permissible value of parameter describing load or spatial position of boom or load-handling device of crane is set and memorized. Current value of boom length is calculated by indirect method. During operation of crane current value of parameter characterizing load or spatial position of boom or load-handling device of crane is determined by means of its calculation using results of measurement of current value of boom length. Current value of the parameter is compared with the permissible value and, depending on the results of this comparison, warning signals or control signals or control signals of one actuator of the crane are generated, aimed at preventing exceeding of its permissible value by this parameter. As parameter characterizing load or spatial position of boom or load-handling device of crane, increment of boom head acceleration is also taken, which serves as criterion for determination of moment of boom throw start at sudden load removal. In case of exceeding one of these parameters of maximum allowable value, warning signals and signals activating, pyrotech valve of device for emergency-force action on boom equipment, action of reactive thrust of which prevents exceeding of its permissible value by this parameter and brings boom into initial position before loading in case of instantaneous load removal or increases duration of process of loss of crane stability. Invention covers also safety system of boom hoisting crane.
EFFECT: higher reliability of boom operation, prevention of accidents.
