FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing equipment, in particular to investigation of metals for corrosion cracking at compression with torsion in corrosive media. Device for investigation of corrosion cracking of samples of materials during compression with torsion in corrosive media consists of rigid frame made of corrosion-resistant steel, in the square recess on the lower beam of which the test sample is installed, which is loaded by means of a screw jack installed on the upper beam of the rigid frame, and the loading spring by the vertical compressing load, as well as a special lever and brackets with a screw mechanism, installed on the side beams of the rigid frame, to ensure the sample twisting.
EFFECT: simplification of design and expansion of technological capabilities of the device for improvement of accuracy of metals investigation for corrosion cracking at compression with torsion in corrosion media.
