FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of mechanical testing of metal materials, and namely to creation of a device enabling cyclic bend deformation of samples of metal materials immersed in electrolyte with simultaneous continuous measurement of sample electrode potential. Device consists of electrolyte tank arranged on telescopic stage with possibility of liquid level adjustment relative to upper and lower lever bases fixed on bearing frame of upper lever base with cylindrical crossbar with possibility of rotation along its axis and attachment of upper end of sample, series-connected servo drive, disc and lever, movable and stabilized by modules of linear movement in vertical direction of lower lever base with cylindrical crossbar, with possibility of rotation along its axis and attachment of lower end of sample in electrolyte, when using sample as working electrode, parallel connected with standard comparison electrode to electronic pulse potentiostat.
EFFECT: possibility of simultaneous implementation of two processes: cyclic mechanical deformation of sample by bending and measurement of its electrode potential in electrolyte.
