FIELD: agriculture; machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agricultural machine building. Method consists in isolating potato tubers from the treated mass by combing the tuberous soil layer with combs, located in a free fall after the descent from the separating working body of the combine: a slat elevator, a screen, a compounder, etc. Rotary device comprises a rotor with operating elements. Outer surface of the rotor is made with slats arranged along its generatrix, on which the radially directed teeth are fixed. Distance between the rows of bars is equal to the distance between the slats of the feeding elevator, and the distance between the neighboring comb teeth is equal to the distance between the rows of straps on the rotor.
EFFECT: intensification of the separation process is ensured, the quality of cleaning is improved, and the damage to tubers is reduced.
