SUBSTANCE: invention relates to personal protective equipment for human respiratory apparatus. Universal six-point self-tightening headband of fine adjustment for front part of gas mask is characterized by presence of six-point attachment to front part of gas mask by means of buckles, 3 mm by interval of molding stops, developed sweep elements on straps, connection of head support with face part of gas mask due to four fixing buckles and two tightening buckles equipped with rollers, working in pairs with retainers.

EFFECT: invention will make it possible to: increase manufacturability of the front part of the gas mask, to reduce the reject rate during its serial production, to increase the comfort of the advance adjustment, to minimize the probability of detachment of flaps in the front part of the gas mask or headband rupture, reduce total mechanical effect on head and index of severity of sore spots of soft tissues of face with face mask, use headband as universal for face parts of filter and insulating gas masks, perform advance fitting of front part of gas mask, maximum reduction of the probability of significant painful sensations when using the front part of the mask for prescription by persons having long hair.
