FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to weapons and can be used in non-contact fuses of ammunition. Method of detecting small-size aerial targets with a non-contact optical fuse of non-rotating ammunition involves placing several optical receiving and emission channels into an explosive around a longitudinal axis of the ammunition, each of which comprises a pulse source of optical radiation and a photoreceiver, connected to the electronic unit. According to information from photodetectors target presence is determined. Pulsed optical radiation source is a laser. Radiation angle of each laser in the radial direction is continuously varied by means of an acoustooptical deflecting device. Photoreceivers are equipped with lenses with refractors operating in the wavelength range emitted by lasers. Number of emitters k is selected from the ratio k<360°/β, where β is the laser beam deflection angle when passing through the acousto-optic deflecting device.
EFFECT: invention increases accuracy of fixing small-size targets with a small number of radiators and photodetectors and thereby reducing overall dimensions of the structure of the non-contact sensor.
