SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to microbiology and includes two versions of a nutrient medium for detecting lactic acid bacteria. Liquid nutrient medium contains pancreatic hydrolyzate of casein, lactose, glucose, yeast extract, polysorbate-80, sodium carbonate, bromocresol purple and distilled water at specified content of components. Dense nutrient medium additionally contains bacteriological agar in specified amount.

EFFECT: disclosed nutrient media enable to determine lactic acid bacteria, perform quantitative counting of grown microorganisms, their primary differentiation according to morphology of colonies.
