FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio receiving device with quadrature digital signal processing and can be used in radar stations. Technical result is achieved due to that radio receiving device contains connected to each other in a certain way controlled amplifier, phase detector, source of quadrature oscillations, analogue-to-digital converter (ADC), digital control signal generating device, a buffer, a signal comparing device with a lower threshold level, a signal comparison device with an upper threshold level, a command decoder, a constant component subtractor, a unit for storing constants and a device for restoring dynamic range at the output of the receiver, wherein the radio receiving device controls the gain of the reception channel so that the signal at the input of the ADC is in the linear part of its dynamic range.

EFFECT: wider dynamic range at the input of the device while maintaining signal level information on the quadrature digital outputs of the radio receiving device and transmitting zero frequencies in the spectrum of the useful signal while simultaneously compensating for the parasitic constant component at the output of the analogue-to-digital converter (ADC).
