SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynecology, and concerns treating diffuse benign breast dysplasia in females. That is ensured by digital mammography of mammary glands and determination of vitamin D. If observing the high density of mammary glands and the level of vitamin D below 30 ng/ml, 5,000 IU of vitamin D is administered once a day for a month. After the monthly course, the level of vitamin D is repeatedly determined, and when the level reaches no less than 45 ng/ml, the dose of vitamin is reduced to a maintenance value of 2,000 IU once a day. If the vitamin D levels are lower, the dosage is continued 5,000 IU once a day until reaching a value of at least 45 ng/ml and then switched to a maintenance dose. Total length of treatment is 6 months.

EFFECT: introduction of vitamin D in the above mode provides effective correction of its deficiency, reduced density of mammary gland and accordingly prevention of breast cancer.
