SUBSTANCE: method for liquefying a natural gas feed stream and removing nitrogen therefrom includes passing a natural gas stream through the main heat exchanger to form a first LNG stream and separation of liquefied or partially liquefied natural gas stream in distillation column to form nitrogen-rich vaporous product. Closed cooling system provides cooling of main heat exchanger and heat exchanger-condenser, which provides irrigation for distillation column. Cooling agent circulating in the closed cooling system passes through the main heat exchanger and through the heat exchanger-condenser and is heated in them.

EFFECT: technical result is increased purity of manufactured products and increased compactness of plant.
