FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fluorine-conducting solid electrolytes (FSEL), which are used in various areas of solid state ionics, electrochemistry, sensor systems and low-voltage power engineering, as well as to a method for its preparation. Fluorine-conducting composite electrolyte is obtained by crystallization of eutectic compounds in binary condensed systems MF2 – RF3 (M = alkaline-earth elements Ca, Sr, Ba; R = rare-earth elements La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm). Electrolyte contains MF2 difluoride and trifluoride RF3, which are taken at the following ratio: RF3 57–70 mol% and MF2 30–43 mol% in accordance with eutectic points on phase diagrams of MF2 – RF3 systems, which provides their practical use at temperatures of 200–1,450 °C and obtaining stable values of fluorine-ion conductivity 6×10-4–2×10-3 Ohm-1⋅cm-1 at temperature 200 °C.
EFFECT: invention provides a simpler method of making fluoride composites.
