FIELD: pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pumps for transfer of fluid medium with variable viscosity, such as crude oil or natural gas. Pump has housing (2) with inlet (3) and outlet (4), at least one blade wheel (7) and balancing drum (6) for removing axial pressure. Wheel (7) is arranged on rotating shaft (5). Drum (6) comprises rotor (61), firmly connected with possibility of rotation with shaft (5), wherein rotor (61) has high pressure side (65) and low pressure side (64), stator (62) fixed relative to housing (2), and discharge channel (63), which continues between rotor (61) and stator (62) from side (65) to side (64) of rotor (61). In stator (62) there is additionally made return channel (8), which connects side (64) with inlet (3), and at least one intermediate channel (9), which opens into channel (63) between sides (65 and 64) of rotor (61). To effect flow through channel (9) there is blocking element (10).
EFFECT: invention is aimed at enabling efficient and efficient transportation of media with highly variable viscosity without replacement of impeller and/or balancing drum.
