SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to pumps and methods of pumping by means of these pumps. Pump 10 comprises at least two fluid transfer devices 40, 60. Method of pumping fluid from inlet to outlet of pump 10 uses at least two devices 40, 60. Each of two devices 40, 60 comprises primary drive and element for fluid medium displacement. Primary drive actuates the element for displacement of fluid medium. Devices 40, 60 operate independently from each other so that contact between them is synchronized. Operation of devices 40, 60 is synchronized so that element for displacement of fluid medium in each device 40, 60 is in contact with another element for displacement of fluid medium. Contact can be made in at least one point of contact, along one contact line or at one contact section. Contact seals the fluid medium trajectory so that the coefficient of slippage is within the specified range.
