FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agriculture. Method consists in desalination of water using solar energy. Water vapor is saturating pre-heated to 60–70 °C air, which is then removed to irrigated area, where it is cooled in the zone of plant roots at depth of 0.4–0.6 m with deposition of condensed desalinated moisture. Proposed device comprises mineralized water supply pump, solar heater, evaporation chamber communicated with desalinated water supply pipeline to plants root system. In evaporating chamber there arranged are wicks from hydrophilic material, and outside there is an air solar collector equipped with air intake valve and communicated with evaporation chamber. Evaporation chamber is connected with air duct with head part of perforated pipeline, covered with layer of hygroscopic material and equipped with air-extracting device in its end part.
EFFECT: provides for intrusion of plants with desalinated water without accumulation of salts in soil and with minimum loss of water for evaporation.
