FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention will find application in consolidation of sandy soils by planting forest belts on lands with shallow occurrence of saline ground waters. Method involves a trapezoidal cross-section trench fragment, trench walls coating with a membrane film, laying on the trench bottom in the zone of the capillary fringe of salty ground water in the sand filling of the perforated polymer pipes from the heat-resistant polymer, the ends of which are combined by the manifolds. One of the headers has an air intake device in the form of a funnel with a rotating weather vane in the horizontal plane, connected to the solar air heater, and the other is an air exhaust device with a control valve and a fan with a wind turbine. Pipes are covered with air-permeable material, water-permeable screen is laid on surface of sand filling of pipes. Above the screen, the trench is filled with soil, pre-treated with 10–15% solution of polyacrylamide soil glue, dried and loosened with formation of water-resistant lumps, which are separated on sieves with mesh size of 10–15 mm into two fractions—coarse from the sieve surface and fine, which has passed through the sieve. When filling the trench, a coarse fraction is laid in its lower part, forming a non-capillary porosity, and in upper part of trench fine fraction is laid with formation of capillary porosity. Also, when filling the trench, wicks from hydrophilic material are installed in it, and when laying the fine fraction of soil, seedlings of trees and shrubs are planted. Thereafter, heated air is adaptively fed through perforated pipes into the trench.

EFFECT: invention will make it possible to refuse use of pumping equipment, subsurface irrigation system, moisture accumulators.
