FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of filling silencer body with fibrous material before complete assembly of silencer body. Silencer comprises a silencer case characterized by the presence of an inlet and an outlet. Silencer housing comprises first housing element and second housing element. Method envisages attachment of the first body element and the second body element to each other so that to limit the open part and the closed part, at that the open part limits the hole sufficient for the filling head arrangement between the first body element and the second body element in the open part area. Method envisages insertion of a filling head into the silencer case through the open part, as well as introduction of fibrous material into the silencer case through the filler head. Further, the filling head is removed from the silencer case through the open part and the open part is closed.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of methods for silencer filling with fibrous material before completion of silencer case assembly.
