FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: hydroponic plant includes a control unit, a cultivation vessel in which there is a water level sensor, a heat supply unit, an ozoniser whose air duct is installed in the well. Heat supply installation consists of a water extraction well, a heat pump with a discharge and supply pipelines connected to the cultivation vessel, and a water heater. Water heater is made in form of solar radiation concentrator and is installed on supply pipeline between heat pump and well. Device has a backup power supply consisting of a battery with an inverter, a voltage stabilizer, a relay for switching to standby power supply of the heat pump and a converter of heat energy to electric one. Converter used is Peltier elements interconnected in series, installed between the discharge and supply pipelines and connected to the voltage stabilizer.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of reliability of power supply and provision of uninterrupted operation of device.
