FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and is intended for assessment of physical and mechanical characteristics of base soils, which provide methods of calculating bases, foundations and underground structures with initial information. Disclosed is a method of estimating a soil deformation module, in which a wave analysis of a soil thickness of a low-velocity zone of an upper part of a section is carried out, based on the results of analysis, a profile of distribution of wave velocities in a soil mass is constructed, and a deformation module is calculated. Wave analysis is carried out by the method of multichannel analysis of surface waves, based on the analysis results, a profile of surface wave velocity distribution is constructed. Specific gravity of soil layers is calculated from surface wave velocity distribution profile γ and initial shear modulus G0 at small deformations as per given relationships. Correlation coefficient k is determined between the deformation module and the initial shear modulus from the given relationship. Then, deformation modulus E is estimated from correlation dependence.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing evaluation of soil deformation module, corresponding to deformation module during testing die, data on distribution of surface wave velocities in soil section, obtained by nondestructive wave method of multichannel analysis of surface waves, provision of rapid assessment of geotechnical situation of construction / reconstruction sites.
