SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composite materials. Described is a thermoplastic composition with high fluidity in molten state, containing: from 80 to 99.8 wt. % of thermoplastic polymer matrix, from 0.1 to 10 wt. % cyclic ester oligomer, wherein said oligomer has degree of polymerisation from 2 to 25 and from 0.1 to 12 wt. % of phenol polymer. Said compounds (b) and (c) are present in weight ratio (c)/(b) ranging from 0.25 to 6, preferably from about 0.75 to 2.75. Described also is a method of producing a composite article from such a composition by impregnating a reinforcing material, such as a fabric, or preforms and a composite article obtained using said method.

EFFECT: technical result is considerable reduction of melt viscosity of thermoplastic polymers, in particular of polyamide type, which allows to impregnate reinforcing material in a shorter time interval, and also allows to produce articles with low porosity and high content of fibres.
