FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric engineering, namely to the system for boosting excitation of self-contained synchronous generator included in electrical system, using energy accumulators based on storage batteries and high-power supercapacitors, and can be used in independent sources of electric power, mobile electric generating units and power plants. Technical result is provided due to that system for boosting excitation of self-contained synchronous generator includes summing transformer and voltage corrector, input of which is connected to winding of generator armature, and output – to control winding of summing transformer, which secondary winding is connected through first rectifier to winding of generator inductor, at that parallel to winding of inductor is connected accumulator, consisting of two parallel connected units, first of which consists of n-storage batteries, in series connected to m-accumulator batteries, second unit consists of n-supercapacitors, wherein part of n-accumulator batteries of first unit through electronic switch at input and electronic switch at output is connected to control system, inputs of which are connected to current transformer and with voltage transformer, which input is connected to outputs of synchronous generator, at that, part of n-accumulator batteries is connected in parallel to inductor winding for voltage corresponding to synchronous generator excitation forcing voltage, and both units are connected via controlled inverter and high-harmonic filter to synchronous generator outputs.
EFFECT: limitation of voltage drop (VD) at generator outputs in case of short circuits (SC) in electric network or at start-up of electric motors.
