FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to insulation of existing and newly formed cracks around a borehole and the well itself in a coal mine hazardous for gas accumulation. According to the method two ends of the borehole section are closed. For this purpose, resin or mixture of resins with high water-absorbing capacity in the form of finely mixed powder, wrapped with a piece of cotton fabric, are located in section of bore with embedded holes. Pipe for water pumping and gas discharge pipe is placed into borehole. Automatic water feed valve is used for water supply. Resin or mixture of resins is used in form of a mixed fine powder with high water-absorbing capacity. Providing fast swelling of resin after water absorption, filling section with embedded holes and surrounding cracks with water flow. Swelling pressure is maintained. After swelling of the powder and completion of the holes closing, the discharge pipe is connected to the gas discharge device.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of insulation works.
