FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the machine building. Device for contactless wheel rim rotation comprises two external independent magnetic conductors having a cylindrical shape and mechanically connected to the rim, which have the possibility of rotation relative to fixed, coaxially arranged magnet cores of smaller diameter, since they have a certain gap between them during their alignment. Magnetic cores consist of two magnetically conductive discs connected by cylindrical crosspieces containing coils. Shaft is connected by means of rigid connection to magnetic conductors, thus magnetic cores and coils form circular cylindrical transformer. Magnetic cores containing coil form electromagnet. Between cylindrical bearings and shaft there is a gap, having size smaller than the gap between magnetic conductors. Voltage from the piezoceramic generator is supplied to the primary coil of the transformer through a power meter at movement of the vehicle.
EFFECT: reduced friction in device.
