SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic emitter contains transformer coils of two transformers coaxially located on the refractory insulating tubes, the magnetic core of which are conductors of circular or rectangular cross-section, located parallel to the axis on the outer surface of the refractory insulating tubes. The secondary windings of transformers can move along the magnetic cores as a function of changing the contact area. A method for creating a conductive plasma by an emitter, in which a difference in the intensities of two flows corresponding to the breakdown voltage of air is created, with the formation of an air conductive plasma, which is accelerated by the fields of the coils. A method for adjusting the radiated flux of the emitter, in which the magnitude and sign of the potential applied to the cylindrical or conical electrodes of the cylindrical capacitor are changed to obtain a smooth change in the diameter and intensity of the radiated flux as a function of the distance to the target.
EFFECT: provided is increase in radiation energy.
