SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a drilling mud for construction of wells in unstable clay and uncemented soils and a method for production thereof and can be used in pipeline transport, in particular, during construction of underwater passages of pipelines in unstable soils, such as sand, gravel-pebble soils, clays. Drilling mud for construction of wells in unstable clay and non-cemented grounds includes, wt. %: montmorillonite mud powder 6; polyannionic cellulose 0.4; vodka is the rest, at that value of plasticity coefficient of solution is equal to 2677 s^-1 at dynamic shear stress of 830 dPa. In the method of producing said drilling agent, a clay suspension is prepared by mixing water and montmorillonite clay powder for 1 hour, then polyanionic cellulose is added and mixed for 30 minutes.

EFFECT: technical result is possibility of producing well with stable walls in unstable clay and uncemented soils.
