FIELD: optics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reading glasses, more specifically eyeglasses, for short-term examination of something at a short distance and reading. Disclosed reading glasses are made of plastic and comprise two lenses, a bridge between lenses connecting them, and two nose thrusts on the bridge between lenses. For better placement of reading glasses on the nose, the reading glasses bridge is provided with projections, at that, two ledges are located on outer side to make gripping and placement of spectacles on nose with two fingers while third ledge is located at the center in upper part of web. Reading glasses bridge is ergonomic. Dimensions of glasses for reading bridge radius correspond to dimensions of ellipse radii, where radius r₁ is 7.0 mm, and r₂ is 7.5 mm, wherein bridge angle α makes 36°.

EFFECT: creation of reading glasses, which have very low weight, small dimensions, are made in the form of a single whole and which can conveniently be located on the bridge of the nose.
