FIELD: woodworking industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking, particularly, to firewood splitting devices. On the frame base there are piercing knives with blades up. At the top above the knives the guide tube is vertically placed attached to the auxiliary support. Guide tube has two opposed longitudinal slots. In the guide pipe with the possibility of back-and-forth movement there is a metal block, the stroke of which is limited by the rod passing horizontally through the slots in the guide pipe and the body of the block. Rope is attached to the upper end of the block. On the other end of the cable, there is a movable end of the ladder suspended, the other end of which is articulated with the base frame of the device. For fixation of the block in the extreme upper position relative to the guiding pipe the retractable spring is used, which is spring-loaded in the direction of the blind hole in the body of the block intended for insertion of the stopper into it. To withdraw the stopper from the hole there is a lever connected to the stop by means of a tie-rod. In the lower part of the block there is a through hole in which a movable pin can be installed through the slots in the guide tube. At the lower edges of the slots in the guide tube there are shock absorbers designed to soften the impact of the rod.

EFFECT: labor efficiency is increased at fire spearing.
