SUBSTANCE: present disclosure relates to container (10) comprising sealing surface (15), in which sealing surface (15) is provided with pattern (30) of flanges (31, 32) and recesses (33), and in which sealing surface (15) has a) oleophobic and/or b) oleophilic properties: a) repellent fat such that any fat on sealing surface (15) tends not to stick to pattern (30) on the sealing surface, thereby creating a substantially defatted sealing surface, or b) attracting fat such that any fat on sealing surface (15) tends to settle in recesses (33) of pattern (30) on sealing surface, respectively.

EFFECT: disclosed is a container with an oleophilic/oleophobic pattern on a sealing surface.
