FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to connecting device (1) for use with corrugated pipe (2) comprising a sequence of ledges (3) and recesses (4). Connecting device (1) comprises nut (5) with through passage (6) for corrugated pipe (2) and at least one retainer (7) located in nut (5), wherein retainer (7) has sealing surface (8) for location in one of recesses (4) of corrugated pipe (2). Connecting device (1) also comprises housing (9) having pointed annular sealing edge (10), configured such that its extreme part (11) is pressed to sealing surface (8) of retainer, when nut (5) and housing (9) are moved towards each other. Claim also describes: method of corrugated pipe (2) connection to connecting device (1) containing nut (5), retainer (7) and housing (9), and use of connecting device (1).
EFFECT: invention simplifies process of device connection with provision of tight seal without application of large forces.
