FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: here is disclosed connecting element of fast acting connector used in transporting pipes. Also, the connector is installed together with a control device. The connecting element of the fast acting connector has parts in form of orifices designed for insertion of flexible tongues in the direction perpendicular to axis from the side of front ends of flexible tongues. Inserted parts of flexible tongues are maintained inside the connecting element. Additionally, the flexible tongues are deformed in axial direction inside by means of a circular projecting part on external periphery surface of a conjugated pipe at insertion of the conjugated pipe. This causes disengagement of fixing catches of the flexible tongues from corresponding fixing parts of the connecting element thus facilitating extraction of the control device from the connecting element. Here is disclosed the version of the fast acting connector and device for its control.
