FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: hybrid electrohydraulic steering gear, related to transport engineering, namely to steering systems of wheeled vehicles, steering surfaces of aircrafts, river and sea vessels, etc. Hybrid gear can operate in two power supply modes: standard one with hydraulic power supply from a centralized hydraulic system and in standby power supply mode with electric power supply from an electrical system. Power supply of the proportional electrohydraulic servo valve with direct control of the position of the spool, the outlets of which are connected to the hydraulic cylinder lines, is carried out through the power supply switching unit. Transition to stand-by autonomous mode is made by electric command.
EFFECT: technical result of the proposed technical solution is the simplified gear structure, reduced final cost, weight, and overall dimensions while increasing the reliability.
