SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for injecting a heated still residue into a coke drum as part of a delayed coking process, more particularly to a retractable delivery device of a central feed, which allows to feed still residue into coke drum from bottom and in the center of coke drum using side feeder. Retractable delivery device comprises a housing configured to be connected to the side wall of the coke drum coaxially with the first opening in the side wall; injection nozzle contained inside housing, wherein injection nozzle has first end and second end, wherein injection nozzle is made with possibility of sliding between retracted position and extended position, in which first end passes inside coke drum; a drive which is connected to the second end of the injection nozzle and is configured to allow sliding of the injection nozzle between the retracted position and the extended position; injection nozzle includes a chamber located on the side of the first end and having one or more outlet holes which are oriented into the drum, and an inlet hole which passes through the first end so that the still residue can flow into the chamber through the inlet hole and leave the chamber through one or more outlets.

EFFECT: invention provides prevention of residual residue flow through the housing.
