FIELD: package and storage.

SUBSTANCE: device contains at least one line for supply of items to be packaged, at least one device for distribution of covering sheets, multiple manipulating devices for application of sheet on article and at least one output line for packed products. At that, the manipulating devices comprise at least one movable gripper for selection of at least one article from the supply line and for its alignment with the packing sheet, at least one pusher for moving article to sheet for bending sheet on article, at least one pair of clamps for forced application of opposite sheet valves, surfaces of which thrust against the sheet have relief mating shape for penetration of protruding sections of the clamp into mating recesses in another clamp and vice versa, when clamps are located valves. Manipulating device also includes at least one stop for bending sections of superposed valves located on sides of article with subsequent alignment of valves with one side of article so as to form a bundle of assembled valves, at least one shaped clamping plate for transverse compaction of the bundle of assembled valves, wherein the plate comprises at least one heater for controlled temperature increase.
