SUBSTANCE: package for the product (12), which has in general the shape of the unit, made of the wrapper (14) using the flexible material, which completely encloses the product. Wrapper comprises the foldable valve portion (24), which is adjacent to the end of the package. Free edges (28, 30, 32) of the valve cover the additional wrapper section (34) and are joined by the laminating and re-sealable adhesive (37). Valve (24) extends completely through one package surface (38) and at least partially downwards to the opposite sides to form a sealed and re-seal the package.
EFFECT: package can be formed using the stream wrap methods and it is particularly suitable for packaging chocolate bars and the like.
