FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propulsors of vehicles and can be used in fans and wind generators. Air propeller blade comprises a screening surface arranged perpendicular to the blade airfoil along its perimeter directly on the end surface of the airfoil or at a distance from its end surface, which is not more than 0.2 of the chord length of the airfoil, as well as additional screening surfaces installed along the length of the airfoil at a distance between two adjacent screening surfaces of 0.5÷3.0 of the chord length of the airfoil. Height of screening surfaces to surface of airfoil is 0.02÷1.0 from maximum thickness of the profile of the airfoil in the cross-section, in the plane of which the screening surface is installed, and the thickness of the shielding surfaces is 0.01÷0.5 of maximum thickness of the airfoil.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and propeller thrust due to reduction of vortex flows discharged through the end part of the blade.
