FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a projectile to simulate collision with birds, when birds collide with aircraft or are pulled into engine during takeoff or landing. Proposed projectile comprises volumetric body with contour of columnar shape. This body has front end and rear end. Said body has opening open at front end and cavity elongated from opening to rear end. Volumetric body is made of gel-like or jelly-like material. Hole remains open. Cavity has a shape narrowing towards the rear end.
EFFECT: high efficiency of imitation.
