SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a communication equipment and can be used in data communication systems with adaptive signal correction for selecting a parameter of the correction algorithm. Using algorithm based on received test signal u0(t) calculating impulse response of correcting filter hcor(t,α), by means of impulse response of correcting filter hcor(t,α), using algorithm correcting information signal um(t) with phase manipulation, carrying N information symbols, resulting in obtaining corrected information signal Km(t,α), which is symbol-by-demodulated to obtain a bit sequence b(n,α), n=1…N, bit sequence b(n,α), n-1…N is modulated to obtain a calculating a correlation coefficient after which Q dependence on parameter α is determined, by changing value of this parameter, resulting in optimum value of parameter αopt, corresponding to maximum Q.

EFFECT: high accuracy of estimating the optimum value of a correction algorithm, selecting an optimum parameter of the correction algorithm based on analysis of phase spread of the corrected information signal of signals, without knowledge of a priori information on noise power, the signal / noise ratio and the corrected information signal.
