FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to helicopters and their power plants. Attack helicopter comprises fuselage with bottom and tail and gas turbine engine for vertical take-off with reduction gear. Fuselage is equipped with front wings on which mid-flight engines are installed. Helicopter employs a propeller fan gas turbine engine comprising a propeller fan with two rotor stages, configured to rotate blades in opposite directions, and a gas generator connected to it by two shafts via a reduction gearbox, comprising a birotarator and a birotating turbine, which are installed inside the internal housing, with formation of the second circuit between external and internal cases. Propeller fan is made with diameter larger than helicopter width in plane passing perpendicular to axis of symmetry in helicopter center of mass. Propeller fan blades have the possibility of an asymmetric change of angles of attack. Behind the birotary turbine there is a nozzle with an adjustable thrust vector. Between birotating turbine and internal nozzle of fan-assisted gas turbine engine can be made an afterburner.
