FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to vertical take-off and landing aircraft. Power plant of vertical take-off and landing aircraft comprises three gas turbine engines: one propfan gas turbine engine for vertical take-off with a reduction gear installed vertically in the center of fuselage masses, and two sustainer engines. Propfan gas turbine engine comprises propfan with two rotor stages, made with possibility of blades rotation in opposite sides, and connected to it two shafts birotating compressor and birotating turbine, which are installed inside the internal housing, with formation of the second circuit between external and internal cases. Propfan blades have the possibility of an asymmetric change of angles of attack. Behind the birotating turbine there is an internal nozzle with an adjustable thrust vector. Marching motors are connected to reduction gear by power takeoff shafts. Outer nozzle has adjustable thrust vector. Between birotating turbine and internal nozzle of propfan gas turbine engine is built-up augmenter.
EFFECT: safe landing of helicopter in case of screw damage.
