FIELD: means of individual protection.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of personal protection of respiratory apparatus in diving equipment for performance of underwater, rescue and other types of diving operations. Diving helmet consisting of a bonnet with porthole and flange, half-masks, devices for leveling pressure in middle ear, communication device, moisture draining device and window blower located inside the bonnet, gas supply device, etching device, atmospheric valve, lamp, camera (television or video), welding shield and eye, located outside the bonnet, of the helmet liner and the chin liner, adjusting and fixing the position of the head of the diver, breastplate for connection to the diving suit, node connections to external sources (gas breathing mixture, power supply, communication and warm water for heating). According to the invention, the inner cavity of the bonnet is separated by a soft tight shell into two cavities, wherein the space between the bonnet and the soft tight shell is filled with ballast water when the diver immerses into the water body and is released from the ballast water when leaving the water reservoir, through valves located on bonnet, which are manually controlled by diver.

EFFECT: invention solves problem of minimum weight on land and minimum positive buoyancy in water, with protection of main units from mechanical effects, with possibility of heating respiratory gas mixture and with possibility of head position adjustment inside helmet.
