FIELD: drilling of soil and rocks; mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drilling. Downhole motor comprises a bearing mandrel installed with possibility of rotation in the housing, an impact adapter located higher and connected to the bearing mandrel so that it is capable of rotation with it, wherein impact adapter has upper end with upwardly projecting teeth of impact adapter, drive mandrel located in housing above impact adapter and with coaxial alignment therewith, cam device associated with drive mandrel, and means of storing kinetic energy associated with driving mandrel and cam assembly. Driving mandrel is made with possibility of rotation and movement in axial direction relative to housing and relative to impact adapter. Driving mandrel has lower end with protruding down teeth of driven mandrel, which are made with possibility of engagement with teeth of impact adapter. Rotation of drive mandrel makes it possible to move driving mandrel upwards in axial direction relative to impact adapter and housing, which leads to storage of kinetic energy in storage device of kinetic energy, and further rotation of the drive mandrel makes it possible to move the driving mandrel downwards in the axial direction, in order to release kinetic energy stored in the kinetic energy storage device, so that the drive mandrel transmits axial impact forces to the bearing mandrel.

EFFECT: reduced value of reactive twisting loads transmitted to drill string.
