SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antiaircraft weapons. Method of aircraft protection against missile damage in rear hemisphere consists in release of gliding false target – simulator of aircraft features on cable from its board on high-speed winch. False target imitates the widest range of aircraft features, which identifies the attacking missile, simultaneously the aircraft attenuates its features as much as possible. Control system of aircraft through signal wire, combined with rope and connected with false target, aligns flight trajectory in straight line: aircraft, false target, attacking missile. At safe distance from aircraft there is a meeting and anticipatory blasting of enemy attacking missile with fighting charge of false target.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the aircraft protection reliability degree.
